Why am I reading posts written in English and then sometimes posts written in German?
At first I only wanted to write articles in English. But as the blog developed, so did my content. And some topics are related to German politics or law and are not of much interest to non-native speakers. I write these articles in German. Technical posts will still be written in English, as it makes more sense. Maybe apart from the occasional article I'll write for "Friends & Family" to help them with a problem and keep it in German so they can follow the instructions more easily. Besides, with all browsers now automatically asking to translate text into a language the user can read, I really don't have much of a problem with this.
However, I will try to always provide a link to DeepL who provide an excellent translator along German articles which is even better than the one provided by Google or your browser and I recommend using that to read those articles.
